Auburn Softball hopes to return to Oklahoma City for the third season in a row in 2017. The first step in that process begins this weekend. Auburn will host Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Wallace State Community College of Dothan, and Daytona State College this weekend, as a part of their opening weekend of Fall Practice games. On Saturday, Mississippi Gulf Coast will face Wallace State at 12:00 P.M. Auburn will then face Mississippi Gulf Coast at 2:30 P.M., and will round out Saturday with Wallace State at 5:00 P.M. Auburn will play two more games on Sunday, with game one against Daytona State beginning at 12:00 P.M. All games will be played at Jane B. Moore Field, and admission is free. Auburn Softball is also allowing fans to scout next season’s team, by holding open practices on Thursday and Friday. Visit Jane B. Moore Field on Thursday from 3 until 6 P.M., and Friday from 4 until 7 P.M. to watch the Tigers practice, prior to holding their first fall game of the season on Saturday.
