Baseball Opens Fall Practice on Thursday

Fall Practice for Auburn Baseball gets underway on Thursday at Plainsman Park.

Second year Head Coach Butch Thompson will begin practice on Thursday, and will hold scrimmages this weekend. Friday’s scrimmage is set for a 4 P.M. first pitch. Keegan Thompson will face Gabe Klobosits. Casey Mize will battle Davis Daniel on Saturday, scrimmage set to begin at 9:30 A.M. On Sunday, the pitching matchup will be between Daniel Sprinkle, and Trevor Hillhouse at 2:30 P.M.

For Thompson, this will be his first Fall Practice as Head Coach. He was named Head Coach on October 22, 2015, following the dismissal of Sunny Golloway.

All scrimmages at practices are open to the public.
